ADA/Handicapped Parking Procedure
It is our policy and desire to accommodate those individuals with special needs. We provide a special parking lot designated for ADA/Handicapped Parking. However, we do not issue any Hamvention ADA/Handicapped parking tags. Instead the ADA/Handicapped parking area follows the same guidelines and requirements of Greene County Ohio. Parking rules are governed by an official State issued hanger or vehicle tag for ADA/Handicapped parking. The number of spots is limited and first come-first served. Violations of ADA/Handicapped parking laws are subject to local Law Enforcement fines and towing at the owner’s expense.
PLEASE NOTE – YOUR STATE HANGER OR PLATES MUST BE VISIBLE WHEN ENTERING OR YOU WILL BE SENT TO GENERAL PARKING.
The lot should be open by 7 a.m. each morning. Those planning to use the ADA parking lot should click on the ADA map. The lot must be entered from Fairground Road. Those traveling east should enter at Gate 4 and those traveling west at Gate 3.
For heavy purchase pickup have your items transported to the pickup area (shown on the map) and obtain a pass/claim check. Bring your vehicle to the designated gate for pickup with your claim check hanger display on the vehicle mirror. Once at the claim area present your hanger to the attendant who will match it with your items. Load your items and exit the gate immediately.
The pass/claim check is limited to one use on the day of issue and ALL items must be picked up by 5 p.m.
